I have stopped eating seafood since Fukushima disaster in 2011 and have been asking people to reduce fish, shellfish, sea vegetable intake, due to the heavy mercury toxicity and nuclear radiation exposure.

Looking for a great new workout without the hassle of an expensive gym or confusing exercise videos? Get outside and join the crowd at the stairs in Santa Monica. This great local spot is dripping with workout fanatics who enjoy a good sweat just as much as you.

The stairs are located at 4th street and Adelaide Dr., but I am sure any of the locals could point you in the right direction. The Santa Monica stairs offer you a great workout without any strings attached. They are steep and long and will guarantee you the same workout as one of those fancy machines at the gym. In fact, getting a workout outdoors in the fresh air makes your body work harder, improving your lung strength, and getting you into great shape that lasts.

The stairs in Santa Monica are also a great place to meet new people and get involved in other local fitness hotspots. When you go, I recommend drinking water at least 30 minutes prior to the workout and of course sipping water during your routine as well. I always like bringing a little snack when I’m finished too, like a granola bar or a small bag of trail mix. Whatever you prefer!

We all have a wide array of kitchen products that we use on a daily basis for our favorite meals, be it mixers, blenders, or juicers. One of my favorite kitchen tools though, is a wonderful blender that truly does work wonders, called the Magic Bullet.

There are thousands of people will jump at the chance to tell you their theory on the best way to reduce wrinkles, but a simple, old fashioned technique to keeping your skin looking young and taut is to practice daily facial exercises. You might think facial exercises entail stretching out the skin, and it might seem that way from pictures and videos on the internet, but practicing facial exercises actually helps lift and rejuvenate sagging skin if done properly.

In much the same way bodily exercise gets our blood pumping, facial exercises induce healthy blood flow in the skin. Because our facial muscles sit directly beneath the skin on our face, small, repetitive movements have a big impact. If done correctly and consistently, expanding and contracting certain muscles in the face can improve skin elasticity.
