My goal is to help return your body to its natural, healthy state, so that you can live the life you want and not be held back by your allergies. I specialize in functional approaches to allergy treatment; I evaluate the body as a whole and work to restore all of its systems to their optimal state.

Over the years, I have made my office a comfortable, warm space for healing. My patients have found me to be a good listener, gentle and non-judgmental in my approach. Thirty percent of my patients are children and I encourage them to be themselves, giving them the opportunity to express their emotions and communicate about their own symptoms and feelings.

On the first visit, I will evaluate the dynamics of your allergic condition. I don’t want to put a “band-aid” on your symptoms. Instead, I examine the root cause of what you are experiencing and help your body restore itself to its natural, healthy state. I am here to facilitate your healing and encourage all my patients to be proactive in taking control of their own health.

First, we will first look at your symptoms and past history: diagnoses, blood and urine tests and x-rays if applicable. I will order more lab work if I judge it to be necessary to further evaluate your condition.

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Muscle Response Testing” open=”false” el_position=”last”]

Second, I use muscle response testing to further evaluate your condition. Muscle testing allows me to evaluate allergic reactions that might not show up on a standard blood test that diagnoses only severe inflammatory (IgE) reactions.

Muscle testing is a gentle, non-invasive procedure that evaluates how your body reacts to a range of allergens in sealed glass vials: there is no direct exposure. In my twenty-two years of using the technique, muscle testing has enabled me to evaluate thousands of patients with allergies that other forms of testing might not reveal.

Third, I may, on your first visit, use a bioenergetic treatment that combines the principles of acupuncture and modern science. It is gentle, non-invasive and uses no needles.

Bioenergetic treatment involves the use of a gentle percussive instrument that activates acupuncture points in the body and neurolymphatic reflex points along the spine. It has helped thousands of my patients feel immediate allergy relief.

These treatments will down-regulate your immune response, so you are not as sensitive to allergens such as dust, mold and pollen. As your immune system becomes less responsive, you will feel your allergy symptoms diminish or disappear.

Finally, I will then make a personalized program for you that may consist of lifestyle and diet changes, nutritional counseling, stress evaluations and follow-up visits.

If you would like to make an appointment, please don’t hesitate to email us or call (310) 315-1514.
